Short and sweet tonight. Not only am I still feeling the wonderful results of yet another hot day, but I also accomplished a first. Yep, I made it to home plate. Hit the ball, got to second and then made the mad dash from second to third to home. Hmmm, funny how the heat and playing ball both seem to count on getting to a "base" of some sort.

I am a working stiff. I started this blog to help me stay motivated in my desire/need to be a writer... only problem with writing is the small detail of ... writing. I love to write (as anyone who really knows me will attest). Have all the schooling needed to verify that, yes, I really can write and am actually licensed to do. Finding the daily motivation and ambition to just simply write however, is not a 101 offering. So with the dawn of a new decade I thought that it was about time that I caught up with the times(so far behind am I!) and blog. I hope that you enjoy my sratchings and am anxious to hear your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to read this much. Cat
